Sizing
The Novella (top), the Pouch (left), and the Mini (right).
The collection offers three sizes. They are distinguished by what they can carry. Our classic, the Pouch, is the medium size. It is designed to carry your essentials. The Mini carries less, the Novella more.
Our smallest size. Approximate 7.7" length x 5.1" height (carries lip balm, cards, keys). Perfect for evening.
Our classic size. Approximate 9.5" length x 6.3" height (carries phone, cards, keys). Perfect for everyday, evening, and gifting.
Our largest size. Approximate 11" length x 7.5" height (carries phone, wallet, and more). Perfect for everyday.
Leather Care
The collection is crafted from nappa sheep leather tanned in Italy. The leather is dried naturally in the air and processed with few chemicals.
Color variations and small marks are natural to the skin. The imperfections are what make each skin special.
To remove light stains, we recommend gently buffing with a smooth, dry cloth—microfiber usually works best. If the stain is more intense, we recommend applying baby powder or cornstarch which helps naturally absorb the oils for a day or so and then removing with a similar dry cloth as above. Since the skin is oily, we recommend avoiding contact with water as much as possible.
The beauty of the leather is that it develops its own character and depth with time. Sometimes we also find that because of its natural properties, stains are absorbed on their own.

Carbon
Porto is a carbon neutral company.
In partnership with Pachama, we calculate our operational carbon footprint in order to totally neutralize our environmental impact and preserve critical wildlife habitat.

Design
We believe sustainability begins with the intention to create value through understated and enduring designs.
Materials
Every material is chosen with attention given to source, longevity, and sustainability. We partner with decades-old, family-run Italian tanneries and mills. Our tannery is LWG-certified, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant, and adheres to the strictest E.U. guidelines to protect human health and the environment.
Nappa sheep leather: byproduct of the food industry; treated with chrome in order to lend it a supple quality, uniform coloring, and longer life.
Cotton: GOTS-certified organic and biodegradable.
Production
The collection is made by hand in small batches at a family factory in Italy. This is gentler on the environment as well as the skilled craftspeople responsible.
Packaging
Our packaging is crafted only with recycled (and recyclable) materials. Each shipment includes a FSC-certified recycled notecard, care card, tissue paper, and sticker—all made from 100% recycled pulp that is acid-free and chlorine-free—within a biodegradable shipping box.
