Porto is a way of moving through the world, a study in travel and what we keep close. Derived from the Latin word for carry, Porto balances opposing elements: stillness and movement, strength and softness, inner and outer worlds. Crafted from natural materials and shaped by hand, each piece embodies ease, intention, and quiet refinement. 

Founded in 2020 and based in New York, the brand’s perspective is inspired by founder Loddie Allison’s great grandmother, Yasuyo Kawamura, and honors what is essential, evolving, and human.
